About our events
The IRIS Foundation’s signature events are designed to leave you with the feels—and always wanting more. By staying open, giving becomes a transformative experience, where community, connection, and celebration take center stage. Each event is thoughtfully curated to offer an immersive and dynamic atmosphere, blending entertainment, purpose, and impact. From eclectic vibrance to unique settings, IRIS events bring people together in meaningful ways, with an emphasis on renewal and reconnection. Whether it’s an evening of eclectic music, Miami heat vibes, or moments that truly embody the spirit of giving, IRIS keeps things fresh and exciting.
All proceeds go toward supporting local organizations fostering growth and positive change in Calgary’s resilient community.
We are proud to have supported local initiatives in our community breaking cycles.
For over 29 years Safe Haven Foundation has been dedicated to supporting the urgent needs of young women and youth aged 14-29 who have faced profound challenges, including homelessness, trauma, and the absence of a stable support system. Safe Haven Foundation provides the resources, stability, and compassionate guidance necessary to help these youth rebuild and grow into independent, empowered individuals.
Highbanks Society is a non-profit organization that supports vulnerable pregnant or parenting women between 16-24 years old who are leaving situations of domestic violence, poverty, and/or homelessness and are committed to their educational goals.
For these mother-led families who face incredible uncertainty, Highbanks offers them hope by providing a safe home, an opportunity for education, and a comprehensive range of support services that allow them to break free from barriers created by trauma and empower them to build a brighter future.
Emma House is a safe and supportive transitional housing program for expectant mothers ages 12+ who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness in Calgary and the surrounding area. This local, grassroots initiative has facilitated over 200 successful transitions and maintains a wide network of active alumni. Currently, 10 active residents and 11 babies benefit from up to two years of assisted living, with onsite staff providing 24/7 trauma-informed care and life skills programming.
IRIS advocates for the underserved by rallying the greater community to participate in strength & numbers.
